Mower Operator

We're currently looking for a Mower Operator to join our high-performing Vegetation team in Dunedin. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working in the fresh air and are looking for a job with variety, this could be your next job.

As a Mower Operator, you'll be key to keeping Dunedin looking its best. You'll be maintaining our public spaces and creating an environment where people are happy to live, work and play.

What you'll be doing:

  • Operating a commercial mower to mow public lawns, berms and other green spaces.
  • Operating a weed eater and other edging tools.
  • Performing basic maintenance on the mower
  • Other basic vegetation tasks as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Self-motivation and able to work in a small team environment where everyone takes pride in the quality and service levels they provide to our customers.
  • The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team depending on the work.
  • Ability to deliver on contract specifications to timeframes and to a high standard
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to contribute to a variety of tasks
  • Confident, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Professional presentation as you will be working in public areas
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence, Class 2 preferred.
