Looking to start or grow your career in civil construction? We're seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager - Surfacing to support the delivery of chipseal and asphalt works across the Waitaki District (and occasionally wider Otago / South Canterbury).

This is a great development opportunity for someone keen to learn the technical and commercial sides of surfacing contracts while working closely with experienced leaders and site crews.

About the role:

• Delivery of chipseal and asphalt surfacing contracts
• Assist with pricing, tendering, reporting, and quality documentation
• Support work programmes, production tracking, and cost control
• Work alongside surfacing crews and site teams
• Promote strong health, safety, and environmental practices

About you:

• Recent experience in civil construction or surfacing
• Motivated, reliable, and keen to learn
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
