About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Class 4 or Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team on a permanent part‑time basis. This role is well suited to an experienced driver looking for steady, flexible hours, including those who may be semi‑retired and keen to remain active in the industry.

The role involves carrying out contract work and the safe, efficient operation of company vehicles and equipment. This includes the ability to operate a hook truck and other various plant such as a telehandler. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of compliance, professionalism, and customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4 or Class 5 vehicles in accordance with NZ transport regulations
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and logbooks
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the public
• Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid NZ Class 4 or Class 5 driver licence
• Current right to work in New Zealand
• Minimum of 2 years' NZ driving experience (Class 4 or 5)
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Good communication and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and reliably
